Internet Sales Specialist
The Internet Sales Specialist is responsible for fielding internet leads, providing excellent customer satisfaction and selling vehicles in the guidelines of the dealership with regards to gross profit and standards.
Responsibilities
Utilizing Internet and phone sources to generate business.
Providing vehicle information to customers and actively identifying their needs, gauging responses, and proactively aligning customers with prospective vehicles.
Actively pursuing phone and internet leads.
Utilizing internal systems and lead management tools to develop new prospects.
Maintaining up-to-date detailed knowledge of new vehicles, features, accessories, information and their benefits for customers.
Engaging customers to the different aspects of the dealership, including operations, sales, service and parts departments, ensuring customer confidence in all aspects of the benefits and services the dealership has to offer.
Completing all sales orders and internal documents in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
Effective communication with the Finance Departments and others to ensure all standards and policies ensure sales orders are properly completed.
Maintaining detailed records and customer information for effective follow-up and customer relations management including repeat and referral business.
Assist in the Sales Department and other areas as needed.
Effectively achieve and maintain sales and customer satisfaction goals set by management.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent; College experience a plus
Minimum one year automotive sales experience preferred
Internet savvy, understanding of online concepts preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to use standard office equipment
Strong professional workplace experience; Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and employees; learn and understand the Federal, State and Local laws which govern retail automotive sales
Attention to detail; strong followup with customers and employees; ability to communicate and work well with the public; professional mannerisms on the phone, email, internet and in person
Must have a valid Drivers License and maintain a safe and acceptable driving record
