Missouri Limo Company Stretches the Nissan LEAF
There's probably nothing that will make you feel like a VIP faster than a ride in a limousine. Except maybe if it was a ride in a very quiet, tailpipe-free Nissan LEAF limo. And thanks to LimoLand in Missouri, guests at Embassy Suites Nashville South are now able to do just that.
We know, the LEAF is traditionally considered a compact vehicle. It's also electric, so the idea that is can carry much more than its current mass might surprise you. But the staff at the hotel are happily shuttling guests between locations in it, and claim it's "the world's first road-worthy, licenses, street legal electric limousine."1
Looking at it from the front, it's LEAF we're all familiar with. Except LimoLand stretched the middle, adding just 400 pounds of weight and room for up to six comfortable passengers. The battery pack was moved to the rear of the vehicle for better weight distribution, but it's still the same 24 kWh battery that powers the original.
Other noticeable changes include luxurious interior materials (leather upholstery and cedar paneling), mirrors, and the Limousine must-have: a mini-bar.
So if you're headed down to Nashville anytime soon, we encourage you to check it out! But if you aren't, you can check out the LEAF EV right here at Connell Nissan, 3157 Medina Rd Medina, OH 44256. It's not a stretch limo, but it's roomy and comfortable, along with being a stylish green machine. Contact us via our website at your convenience with any questions or to arrange a test drive.
