Nissan Takes Victor's Spoils at 1000 KMS of Spa

What can we say... Nissan's a real crowd pleaser these days. And, we're not talking about sales figures. Though, if you've been reading the news, you know they've been pretty impressive and in certain instances record-breaking. Rather, we're talking about the track!

The Nissan-powered TDS Racing Oreca recently won the 1000 kms of Spa. Nissan power also took second place at the Boutsen Energy Racing Oreca. Not to mention, the Signatech Nissan team driven by Nissan's GT academy graduate, Lucas Ordonez and his teammates Franck Mailleux and Soheil Ayari, took fifth place. And that…

The New York Times featured the efforts put together by Nissan in the wake of the devastating earthquake and tsunami, donating pure electric EV vehicles that would work the best to help relief efforts.  Immediately after the catastrophe, power was restored significantly quicker than fuel was available, making the donated vehicles uniquely qualified to offer assistance.
