Refreshed Nissan Titan Expected for 2014

While we love the current-gen Nissan Titan here at Connell Nissan, we're getting pretty excited to see what Nissan has in store for its proposed facelift. Unfortunately, because of the tragic earthquake and tsunami that swept through Japan earlier this year, we'll have to wait a bit longer to see the updated pickup.

Most major automakers are just getting back on their feet after this year's natural disaster. Because Nissan was forced to redirect resources and engineers after the quake, we haven't seen many delays in production of parts or new Nissan models. What that does mean, however, is that resources that would've previously been used to redesign the Titan are otherwise occupied.

Back in 2010, rumor had it that an updated Nissan would arrive at 2850 Harbor Blvd Costa Mesa, CA 92626 for the 2013 model year. It was also rumored that it could feature a new powertrain, as then-Nissan Executive Larry Dominique suggested that they "could do a downsized powertrain...could an enhanced V8...could look at diesel powertrains."1

Connell Nissan is confident that it will be worth the wait for the new Nissan Titan, but we also think that the current model (with a 317-hp, 5.6-liter V8 engine), is pretty great. So stop by and see us or contact us via our website, we're happy to provide you with more information on specs, pricing and availability.
