Nissan Sales Up Globally

Nissan has had a very good year so far. First, their yet to be released EV, Nissan Leaf, has already sold out thanks to pre-orders. And now the Japanese auto maker has posted growing Quarter-1 profits.

In fact, it's happening globally. World wide sales of Nissan vehicles have increased all over the planet. This is the highest quarterly net profit for Nissan in the last two years.

"Our key earnings numbers are strong and suggest (our business performance) is exceeding our plans," Joji Tagawa, a Nissan corporate vice president, said at a press conference
